What are the rules for window tinting?
If you decide to tint your car windows you have to follow a few rules:
- You can’t tint the entire windshield. A 15 cm maximum can be placed on the upper part of the windshield.
- Side windows have to let the light pass for at least 70% (have to be measured with a photometer).
- Please take note that we need to be able to see people in the vehicle.
- Windows that are too dark reduce field of view, affect the perception of contrasts and affect the driver visual capacities by night.
